May 30, 2011. #1. Hello, I have a Canon EOS 60D camera 2 months old and I'm using a EFS 17-85mm lens. I am using this camera mainly to shoot video, but now that I've had it for a couple of months and I'm importing the footage into my macbook pro, all the videos are extremely grainy/noisey. I've uploaded a quick video shot in decent lighting
I was hoping that my 60D would allow me to leave the video camera at home. Video quality from the 60D is good enough but these 2 afore mentioned problems are aggravating. Using the video camera, taking stills while recording is not detected on playback, zooming in and out is smoother and re-focusing is visually noticeable but not audible.
While Canon seems to have backed-off of the professional market slightly with the 60D, the D7000 seems like a bulked up version of the D90, similar in many ways to the D300s. The 60D dropped the 50D’s magnesium alloy body in favor of a plastic one, while the D7000 has a body that is mostly metal, an upgrade over the D90’s plastic.
Hi . been using 60D for many years and happily making videos. In last 6 months I have found I cannot make videos; as cuts out after a few seconds with message "video recording has stopped automatically"

The native ISOs show up in green and the non-native isos show up in yellow. This is on a 60d so im not sure if its different on other cameras. May 16 2012 3:50PM.
