May 30, 2011. #1. Hello, I have a Canon EOS 60D camera 2 months old and I'm using a EFS 17-85mm lens. I am using this camera mainly to shoot video, but now that I've had it for a couple of months and I'm importing the footage into my macbook pro, all the videos are extremely grainy/noisey. I've uploaded a quick video shot in decent lighting I was hoping that my 60D would allow me to leave the video camera at home. Video quality from the 60D is good enough but these 2 afore mentioned problems are aggravating. Using the video camera, taking stills while recording is not detected on playback, zooming in and out is smoother and re-focusing is visually noticeable but not audible.
